The Noevir story begins in the Black Forest region of Germany. In 1978, while visiting the small town of Baden Baden, Noevir’s founder, Mr. Hiroshi Okura, was awed by the exceptionally healthy and radiant skin of the women in the area. The local women in Baden Baden used products formulated with herbs from the nearby Black Forest, renowned for its potent medicinal and cosmetic herbs and often referred to as "God's Own Medicine Chest.” For centuries, the world's nobility had flocked to the spa at Baden Baden for its luxurious mineral springs, mud baths, facials and massages.
Mr. Okura knew he had found the secret to beautiful, healthy skin, and soon enlisted the help of his long-time friend and associate, Dr. Kazushige Suzuki. Together, they dedicated their careers to producing and marketing a skincare line that is highly effective, yet natural to the skin. This was the beginning to Mr. Okura’s dream—to help women around the world enhance their natural beauty with products that closely resemble our skin’s own moisturizers.

Noevir first opened its doors in 1978, and it soon became the second largest direct-selling company in Japan. Today, the company has gone global with offices and distribution centers in Japan, the United States, Canada, Taiwan, China and Korea. With over 1 million satisfied customers worldwide, Noevir's global operations now combine to produce over $1 billion in sales annually.
